Nature is the great repairer. This, I know, is not a Nobel-prize winning discovery. We see it everywhere every year and certainly where man has moved on and abandoned anywhere to the ‘elements’. Nature cleans up, recycles, redecorates and carries on as if we were just a bunch of rowdy guests at last night’s party … or a very good proper effing lunch. When lockdown was at its height, we saw deer happily mooching around our outer suburban street as they might have done a few centuries ago when it was all woodland. It took just a few weeks of cars being left at home and people staying largely out of the way. (Calm down – no you won’t find a shrine to St. Greta in this house. Bear with me …)
I think it was a book by Bjorn Lomberg I read once, regarding environmentalists’ hysteria, which pointed out that after an oil spill most of the oil will naturally disperse with the waves and tides, with little evidence remaining after a few years despite the knee-jerk predications of eco-armageddon (most if it is, after all, an organic substance anyway). Even when we cock-up, Mother Nature will mutter a ‘FFS’ and get on with fixing things.
You’d think the eco-warriors would understand this better than anyone, being in tune with muh Gaia as much as they make out, though as we know nature is just another convenient recruit in their struggle for a Marxist utopia as are Muslims or the working classes.
It’s ironic then that so much of what the Marxists are ‘working towards’ (never achieving, because what would they then do with themselves?) can be undone, not necessarily via equal pushback or counter-revolution, but with simply removing them from the scene.
When a garden is no longer tendered, it reverts to the wild, to a true natural state. The same applies to more intangible environments such as societies, cultures, and economies. Get government out of the way and people will default to the principles of free exchange that are the feature of every sustainably successful economy; we will happily trade with each other, cooperate and compete – sometimes all of these together – and naturally, even without an overall controlled strategy, achieve growth and betterment for the whole. Markets will seek equilibrium between supply and demand of resources just as nature does tends toward an equilibrium between supply of resources and the consumption by living things.
Look at the US for practical examples: delete DEI at government level, and businesses breathe a sigh of relief because they can now get back to making money. I’ll bet you could delete political indoctrination in education and you wouldn’t create a generation of fascists, you’ll just see a generation of largely open-minded, curious but cautious and more rounded human beings than you would ever achieve when spending so much time and money preparing children for a utopia that will never exist, rather than the world as it is.
Leftism in all its forms is ultimately unsustainable. It only works as long as there are resources to put in to keep the struggle going – culturally and economically they are always treading water – eventually the energy runs out and they slip away.
This gives us great cause for optimism. We look on current generations of woke idiots being churned out by our educational institutions, we see falling birth rates cause by a raft of things – climate doom-mongering, self-hating white liberals, the cost of living, crap in our food and water, and so on. Yet take away the factors causing these things and you won’t need to make great efforts to reverse the damage – it will repair itself. The natural urge to reproduce, the realities of life experience, the desires and needs which gave rise to great art, to scientific advances, to what made our civilisations great – all will reassert themselves because, just as cutting a dick off doesn’t make a man into a woman, that which built our way of life hasn’t disappeared with a few decades of Black History Months and tick-box recruitment. It’s in our DNA. It’s why the West (and, to be fair a fair amount of the Far East) advanced way beyond what they managed in more – ahem – equatorial latitudes.
Talking of which, I can hear some puffins pointing out the amount of let’s say ‘genetic diversity’ accumulating within our shores. A reassertion of western culture will soon ensure that anyone not rooted in this part of the world will soon face a choice, in the absence of the cosseting provided by inclusion and diversity policies, that they will have to integrate and contribute, regardless of their culture or race, or find somewhere more accommodating elsewhere.
It’s not a question of replacing state-driven cultural Marxism with an overt state-driven nationalism. Just get government and politicians out of the bloody way – whatever their political colour – and the world will heal – at least, the one we knew and hope to see again.
Have faith, frens.
