We never stop hearing about safe routes for migrants as opposed to paying some dodgy Albanian or Afghan, jumping in a dinghy and braving the waves for a few hundred metres to a waiting taxi service provided by the biggest smuggling gang of all, the British Government.

You must be unable to live safely in any part of your own country because you fear persecution there. This persecution must be because of your

- Religion
- Nationality
- Political Opinion
- Anything else that pits you at risk including gender identity and sexual orientation
You must have failed to get protection from the authorities in your own country.
Your claim might not be considered if you are from an EU country, travelled through the a safe country to reach the UK or have a connection to a safe third country where you could claim asylum.
Looking at these rules then all of the dinghy illegals have no claim for asylum, they have all travelled through France and even with its imperfections, France is a safe country. Our government does not want to implement its own rules.
On top of all this there is the legal migration route where you can claim a visa for various reasons. You can get one of these visas for …
- Tourism or business reasons
- As a skilled worker
- To study in the UK
- Already have family in the UK
- Commonwealth citizens via UK ancestry or the Windrush scheme
I often wonder if those on family reunion visas are really members of the family or strangers who have ponied up thousands to get a simple way to land on Treasure Island as we must surely be known these days. The various African and Asian contingents have perfected the art of making money without making any real effort. This is just the type of scam that would appeal to them. Should we introduce DNA tests ?
Many of the sympathetic liberals howl about safe routes and simultaneously claim the dinghy illegals are doctors, scientists and other such professions. There is a fairly long list of jobs in the skilled worker shortage list on the dot gov website including things like
- Manager in Logistics
- Dancers and choreographers
- Photographers
- Clothing, Fashion and Accessories designers
- Ship and Hovercraft officers
- Box Office assistants
- Welders
- Pipe Fitters
- Fence Erectors
- Painters and Decorators
- and so on
Any of these skilled workers should have no trouble getting a legal visa. Do we still have hovercraft in use ? The official list contains a wide range of skills and we have to assume our illegals have none of them. So much for the lefties howling about safe routes. It is complete BS. These people have no discernible skill and probably want to go and work for their mates in the black economy performing such valuable tasks as dealing and deliveroo driving.
As is their usual MO the left try to tug at your heartstrings. Ignore their bleating. There are safe routes and we get about 3,500 migrants entering this country every day with a legal visa. The few hundred who arrive daily with wet feet and no skill are being brought in by two colluding governments, the British and French ones. They are the real smuggling gangs and who knows where all the money ends up. Our dear leader is famously venal and it would come as no surprise to learn that he is on a handsome drink from someone or even several someones.
I have no idea why our leaders want to replace us but there can be no doubt that is their objective. We need someone who has grown a pair to take over and deliver us from this evil. Whether Nigel Farage is that man is a big question. Reform have been all over the place recently, it often appears they are trying to be the most reasonable party of all while the others desperately try to find some scandal that will knock them out. Perhaps it is all an act, perhaps it is their own version of taqqiya to gain an advantage.
I fear Shabana Mahmood’s recent bout of tough talking is merely an act and while it sounds good the devil is in the details. A quick glance will prove that there is no chance it will change much at all and some of it will require legislation. How are they going to sneak this past their own backbenchers let alone our independent MPs representing Gaza. Labour never turned down new voters even though many will end up voting for the Sharia Party as the Greeny bar stewards will become known. Labour are terminally stupid and the Tories are little better.
