Ordo ab Chao

Ordo ab Chao is a bit of yer actual Latin meaning order out of chaos, it is most often associated with the rolled up trouser leg brigade aka the Freemasons and specifically the much maligned, possibly with good reason, 33rd degree of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry.

The phrase springs to mind when the antics of the orange chap in the White House are dissected. I have never read his book the Art of the Deal but his recent tactics in the dispute with Iran can only be summarised as chaos. Apparently even the Iranians were totally puzzled at more than one point.

So far any contact with Iran has been chaotic with what appear to be mixed signals from the US side. There have been changes of mind upon changes of mind but the main point seems to be no nuclear bombs. Running parallel with this has been the ramping up of pressure, mainly military and recently also economic.

One way or another it appears a deal is close and that will be the order part. Now with the chopping and changing of direction during the course of events as many interpretations as the media wants can be attributed to each step of the way. The Donald has been winning, bamboozled, tricked, totally scuppered and all points between since hostilities commenced. There have been no end of interpretations as to the influence of the hebrews and whether they instigated it all or not.

I suspect they have been played as much as the rest of us. While attacking Iran has been Netanyahu’s dream for decades, neutering them and their proxies plus the scuppering of Iran’s nuclear ambitions have to be seen as massive wins for the world not just Israel and the Donald’s main target may just be what used to be known as the Middle Kingdom.

The Gulf States are united against the Shia regime in Teheran much to just about everyone’s consternation. They had been expected to side with their fellow muslims. The EU and the coalition of the willies led by Spanner, Micron and Merz has been shown up for what it is, a load of hot air and utterly toothless. What’s the betting that shortly after the election the Spanner will be hotfoot to foreign parts so he and the other two can vent yet more hot air.

The latest more conciliatory tone from Iran comes after a visit by the Iranian Foreign Minister to Peking (sod the Beijing nonsense) when it is reported that President Xi put a lot of pressure on to get the impasse resolved so that the tiddlies can resume their cheap oil supplies.

Other items on the plus side for the US include the stream of oil tankers heading to Texas to fill up with American and Venezuelan oil. There are reports of an extra 5 million barrels per day being sold. That is probably half a billion dollars a day, not bad money.

The final icing on the cake has been the UAE’s exit from OPEC. They want to increase production and had been constrained by OPEC’s self imposed limits. Not sure what Saudi Arabia thinks of this but they cannot be very happy about it.

With the disgusting UN doing down the gurgler while the yanks aren’t paying them we may be in for a better world. The WHO is on its last legs, the UN may have to shut down and be replaced by Trump’s Board of Peace. The UN has been about as effective as the League of Nations was when it comes to resolving conflicts and the Americans have not held back from reminding us of this. 

Will we see a Pax Americana emerge from this. The UN and OPEC must be on borrowed time and not only nature abhors a vacuum.

At the time of writing this (election day May 7th), the septics are still haggling with the mad mullahs and both the UN and OPEC are struggling along though wounded. Positive noises are coming from the haggling and OPEC is licking its wounds but even Nostradamus would have difficulty with this one.

No doubt, given my track record, it will all pan out completely differently, dodgy predictions are not the exclusive preserve of both Jesus and Bob Crow on the gee gees.

I forgot to mention the yanks dropping NATO. This has been the Donald’s wish since day one of his Presidency and the NATO countries have given him the ammunition he was looking for, or at least from his perspective they have. He is about to withdraw thousand of troops from Europe and the Erics are bricking it. The Italians are also going to feel his wrath in this area. I am not convinced being beastly to the Pope was a wise move but he made it and Meloni was not happy. Rubio is in the Vatican today for talks with Pope Leo.  Who knows what will be said there behind closed doors.

I remain hopeful it will all end peacefully but I would be reluctant to put any money on it.

Would you Adam and Eve it, right one cue while there is a reasonable chance there will be a peace deal with the Persians, the Israelis have started attacking Lebanon again. It’s almost as if they don’t want peace.
