I have just had one of these profound, and extremely disturbing light bulb moments. Many on this forum will probably already understand the significance of what I am about to write, but this can be simply excused by the fact that we all have a different viewpoint on the world. This is part of the way we are engineered as human beings, and why God is so important. As an individual, we only see a very small part of the picture. It is up to our faith, other individuals, and our life experience to fill in the gaps that so often cloud our vision. Likewise, it is terribly easy to fall into the trap of thinking that your viewpoint is the only and correct one. Without input from others or indeed a higher power, we are akin to driving a small van with no mirrors or windows apart from the windscreen. While we can see what is in front of us, we do not appreciate what is around or behind us. This may be perfectly adequate on a slow flat straight road, but when you are rapidly heading downhill with no brakes, it considerably reduces your chances of survival.
My revelation is this. Many on here, myself included, believe we are living in a post democratic age. This observation may be taken as read, but the full horrors and implications of such a simple statement are considerably more profound and far reaching. The tipping point for me started a few days ago with the proposed abolition of jury trials – an absolute foundation of democracy and civilised society. Where we might bemoan their dissolution in the United Kingdom, our friends across the pond have suffered from the results of this destruction for quite some time now. What on earth are you wittering about now Rookwood, I hear you cry? Our American friends are a bastion of free speech and democracy, they even openly discuss the powers of jury annulment! Not so fast, my fine feathered friend, would be my retort. The American legal system has a well-developed process where juries are effectively screened before they sit. Specialised legal firms investigate jurors prior to appointment, and they can be rejected for any number of reasons. The 2003 movie “Runaway Jury” examines this practice, and this is highlighted again in the 1997 movie, “The Devil’s Advocate”. Therefore, one must come to the conclusion that the Americans have managed to find an effective and financially rewarding way of jury tampering, negating the opinions of 12 good men and true. This clearly is an abomination, for the whole spirit of jury trials is so that the evidence may be weighed by your peers. If the legal system or establishment is able to bias the jury with their candidates, be they prosecution or defence, then the dice are clearly loaded.
We do not have such a sophisticated mechanism here in this country. Whilst jurors can be challenged, the process is relatively unsophisticated. The decision to abolish trial by jury has been on the cards for quite some time now, and it is my firm belief that if the American method were in place, we would be in little hurry to do so. I do not believe for a second that the backlog of Crown Court cases is a true reason for abolition, it is merely another decomposing fig leaf upon the naked narrative of lies. Governments of all stripes have been heading towards a political singularity, the establishment of a global dictatorship. To do this, especially in our special country, the birthplace of fair play and democracy, requires the destruction of our constitution. To facilitate this, requires the elimination of fair trials, the House of Lords, and the monarchy. While the current government is unashamed in their pursuit of such goals, all the other parties are just as guilty of the destruction of our nation. They may not be guilty of destroying the supporting foundations, but they have certainly planted the dynamite, sawed through the roof timbers and caused the reinforced steel joists to irreversibly rust through. We are now at that sickening point where the airliners have struck the twin towers, and we are waiting to see exactly what the physical outcome of this inevitable travesty is going to be.
My light bulb moment was very much a question of joining the dots between real life and the spiritual dimension. I know some of you will immediately dismiss this, but it is a really important concept irrespective whether you believe in it or not. Part of my awakening many years ago involved coming to terms with a very profound and difficult truth. It is not what you believe that matters, but what the other man does. I do not believe in veganism for instance, but this doesn’t stop veganism having a major effect on my life. Like it or not, it infects my existence like a rapidly spreading mold, be it via advertising, goods in the shops, or having to accommodate dinner guests. I may rail against it, be it in fury or compassion, but it is as naught. No matter where I turn, the vegan whilst not managing to penetrate my thick personal defences, is a continual companion. Wash, rinse and repeat for many of the evils that are so prevalent in today’s world, from corruption and profiteering to child abuse and murder. And that, neatly, brings me to the opening picture of the serpent Ouroboros in this piece.
The particular image (Ed. I couldn’t use the linked image as no attribution) was taken from a book on black magic, by M.L. Cyprianus from the late 18th century. The publication, called the Black Book, is a source book for spells in the black arts, and was the textbook of the Black School at Wittenburg, Germany. This establishment is purportedly where witches and sorcerers went to learn black magic. So what has that to do with the price of fish, never mind politics I hear you cry? Simple really, and I will attempt to explain my conviction in straightforward terms. Ever wondered why in this age we are so obsessed with branding? It is because a lot of dark magic is rooted in symbolism, and it has ever been thus. There are a number of reasons for this, one being the communication arm and the other the occultic. The former, frequently used where the masses are illiterate, has morphed into an easily navigated visual aid in today’s crowded marketplace. This is why businesses frequently change their logo under new management, it is either to distance themselves from their previous poor reputation or to signify a new beginning. In this piece though, I am more concerned with the latter. First though, we need to agree on a couple of points. The first point is that there have been numerous secret societies throughout the ages, and the second point is that more often than not, they are secret because the members would either face retribution from the state or individuals due to their extreme or illegal views. While not all secret societies are occultic in the broadest sense, by their very nature most secret societies have a corrosive influence on a civil society. The only exception here being in totalitarian dictatorships, something we are rapidly heading towards.
Given this link, it is worthwhile considering the modus operandi of a few of these groups. One of the most obvious occultic and political connections of recent times was Aleister Crowley, the founder of the O.T.O. and an alleged Satanist. Fascinated by Nazi, Communist and Marxist philosophy, Crowley moved in elite circles and was even alleged to have worked for British Intelligence. Then you have the Fabians and Common Purpose, both clearly occultic in the strictest meaning of the word, which comes from “Occluded” or “Hidden”. Then you have the Freemasons, who deny any spiritual link, yet their temples contain pictures of Baphomet. Their symbolism is everywhere, from their flooring to the chequered bands on police officers caps. Then you have Ouroboros. Where does this fit in?
The number three is important in occultic systems. The most obvious one being the rites of the 33 degree masons. Culturally, three has been considered a powerful number, and old wives mythology suggests bad things come in threes. Grabbing the bull by the horns, if we look at the destruction of our constitution, the first blow has been the destruction of trial by jury. The second blow is the ongoing ravaging from behind the scenes with the removal of hereditary peers from the House of Lords and then being replaced with Labour peers. The third? Well, I believe that will be the destruction of the Monarchy. Once that hand is played, we are truly finished. On that basis, I recommend everyone writes to our King with our concerns. As the old saying goes, use it or lose it, and every citizen has the right to appeal to our monarch. This shift towards Republicanism, something that only seems to happen when a Labour government is in power, is part of a clear cycle. And that is where Ouroboros comes in.
The snake eating its own tail is occultic symbolism for death and rebirth. Looking at this pragmatically on a global scale, where else have we seen Ouroboros at work? Take the First and Second World wars for instance. These led to the destruction of the British empire and the birth of the closed Russian state and the formation of the European Union. Then you have the cultural revolution in China which has led to the move away from agriculture to an industrial economy. Japan is another example, where they were devastated by two nuclear bombs. The tell tale signs are always this; the transformation (another word with deep occultic roots) is not a natural progression, but a sudden, violent change. That is the “Magick” part, instantaneously changing something “Bad” into something “Good”. Don’t just take my word for it, alchemists were traditionally part of the establishment, notably John Dee, who advised Queen Elizabeth I, and Edward Kelley. Guess what? Ouroboros is a favoured symbol of alchemists.
So how do I see this playing out now? The Western political system is literally shaking itself to bits like a washing machine full of bricks. Technology and the collapse of the traditional cultural values have led to an impotent democracy, where see-saw governments push through their hidden agendas whilst swinging to more extreme political positions each election cycle to gain support. We are now so extremely polarised as a nation, any attempt at reaching a moderate political consensus across the board is virtually impossible. Left and Right cling to their sacred cows and blindly refuse to accept that come the transformation (or the work of the alchemist), both will be sacrificed at the altar of political power and terror. These political constructs are just that, a method to divide and conquer, to distract the masses from the real political movers and shakers. Assuming Labour and the Conservatives will cease to exist in the next general election, Reform will then be a major player. However, as I see it, this will just be a retread of the current two party system. Should Reform gain power, the uni-party will just be reborn with them facing either a coalition of the Greens and Lib Dems or the formation of a new party. This may well be where the Muslim block vote truly takes root, and the Greens already seem to be pandering to this demographic. All it would take is for Reform to make a complete fist of it, and we would be back exactly where we started, but far worse. Such a scenario has Ouroboros written all over it.
All of this is just theory and suppositions. I may well be adding two and two and making five, but the cyclical nature of all of this seems too much of a coincidence to be ignored by my autistic observations. History repeats itself, but never exactly, and I am struck by how 1930’s and 1970’s the current vibe is. We are heading for a very big bang indeed, be it economic, military or constitutional, and the changes that are wrought will shock many to the core. I’m convinced that the Royal Family will be the next shoe to fall in this Labour-fuelled bonfire of tradition, and I would not be surprised if Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor plays a major part in this. Occult traditions, like alchemists, are frequently to be found in royal courts. The modern intelligence services started as the King’s private spies, so irrespective of Ouroboros, I think his links with the darker and dirtier machinations of the deep state are about to be exposed, something that will have the power to topple the monarchy, the only constitutional barrier we still have to dictatorship.
In closing, I would suggest this is just as rational an explanation for government policy as any other. The Greens are captured by Gaia, the worship of the earth. Politics seems to be infested with the sexually perverse, and that attribute is frequently found to be a common practice in many secret societies the world over. George Bush masturbating in a coffin immediately springs to mind. As to Ouroboros, the snake is frequently found in Gnosticism, Hermeticism, Hinduism and as previously mentioned, alchemy. It would explain a lot, as certainly Christian values have been eschewed for a considerable time now.
Regardless of belief, the age of the political alchemist and sudden transformation is upon us. What it will bring, I dread to think, for civilised societies generally don’t tolerate sudden change very well.
