I first saw Prince at Wembley Arena in the late eighties and again at the Hardturm Stadion (home of Grasshopper Club Zürich) in 1993. Switzerland must be one of the best places to see concerts. We walked into the stadium at one corner with the stage at the opposite end of the pitch. We were fairly early and most people had taken to the stands either side of the stage but as so few people were there we walked up to the stage and took position there. I was close enough to almost touch him. Awesome musician.
