Not being on X I have not followed in detail the ins and outs of the Farrage/Lowe goings on but from what I have seen it appears to have all the hallmarks of a communist style hatchet job.
Like many, many others I have been reserving judgement in regard to Reform and now it is easy to see why. Good that Rupert is fighting back and I wish I could offer him more than my good wishes. We need him, the Country needs him.
I have just returned from a short trip to France; it was planned to be longer while looking closely at a possible project over there. Weighing the pros and cons I have concluded it would not be feasible in the way I had hoped; so hey hum, return early and put it down to experience. I was a little pissed-off though and thinking about it a (new?) word came into my head. PISSTORY. Something regretted, stuff happens, move on and it becomes just pisstory.
I like this poem from and old edition of ‘The Big Issue’ which chimes with my thoughts above:

Had the misfortune to catch a snatch of Starmer droning on a while back, what an awful voice. See his and Zelensky’s visit to the Don did them little good – he must really think, what a pair of twats and as for him coalition of the willingly! (perhaps he meant willies?) Add Macron and you have a trio of twats! Not my PM.
We now know it’s ok for a sitting MP to assault a defenceless constituent and receive a slapped wrist but if you repeat a tweet you can look forward to jailing by the hurty words constabulary. God help us.
The whole evil construct needs demolishing – but how, and by whom? Years ago I forecasst that there would be civil war – and that is the only answer left to us. I hope I am still around to wield my trusty walking stick in the service of good!

Caught a bit of the speech by Kennedy the US Health Secretary – Loved his comment that their tax code should be rewritten as though someone did it on purpose – theirs is obviously a shambles like ours.
