Mahmood well off message

From a woman who says the first thing she thinks about on waking up is Islam. From a woman who in October 2015 visited refugee camps in Greece helping to deliver food aid. From a woman who in 2020 signed a letter urging the government to stop a deportation flight to Jamaica. From a woman who two months ago declared her support for Sharia Law. We are now supposed to believe that she is going to finally put a stop to illegal migrants on boats.

Pragmatism in the Labour Party at last or is this another can kicking exercise. The opinion polls have Labour trailing badly, they indicate the Party is going to be wiped out at the next election. The biggest worry of the electorate is immigration and especially illegal immigration. Our Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has decided the Danish model looks god and so is making speech after speech saying she is going to introduce something similar here.

The reaction of the brothers and sisters on the back benches has been to threaten a rebellion, we need to tell voters we are getting tough and we know how they think. Shabana is on manoeuvres and covets the job of PM like nobody else including Crayons. She would the first Labour female and the first Muslim PM of this country. Just think, the Tories will no longer be able to taunt them with Maggie’s name. Some commentators are saying that with this proposed crackdown she has scuppered her chances of getting her feet under the table at Number 10, it has certainly been most un-Labour like.

Now Muslims are not supposed to lie to fellow Muslims, lying to us infidels is allowed and happens every minute of every day. To make such a great stride for the cause of Islam, she would lie to anybody about anything. This is why I am sceptical that there will be any advance in actually implementing the Danish model. Never forget Crayons and her £1.5 million homes during this parliament. There is no sign and no chance of that happening. The left still believe that saying something will happen is all that is needed to make it happen. The sheeple are little better and like to believe all the fantasies. Perhaps it makes life easier.

Be that as it may, the leaked plans include all sorts of things guaranteed to appeal to those knuckle draggers in Reform including robbing the invaders of their gold/jewellery to help pay for the cost of processing them. This has been gleefully jumped on as no better than the Nazis in their concentration camps. So far no sign of ripping out gold teeth but give them time. It is all fantasy because we all know it is not going to happen.

Issuing warnings that dark forces are stirring up anger over migration la Mahmood intends to do the following alongside the laughable “smash the gangs” soundbite from her boss, Keith Starmer (the biggest gang is in 10 Downing Street). We all know that anyone landing on our shores will be here for life, even if they are deported to France they just get the next boat over and return.

• Future invaders will go into temporary safety.
• An invader will get permission for a minimum of 30 months here before a review.
• If conditions improve in their home country it is hoped they will go back.
• No permanent settlement for 20 years unless they earn a short cut via working or studying.
• Rejection for asylum might lead to financial support ending.
• Any country refusing to accept its own rejects will be allowed no visas
• Anyone appealing rejection for asylum will have to produce all their arguments in one hearing. No more shopping round until they find something that works.
• There might be some changes to the “right to a family life* in existing legislation.

Well that’s me convinced, not.

This is all pie in the sky and completely unworkable. As far as the visa thing goes, there are threats to Angola, Namibia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to up their cooperation. These are majority Christian countries with relatively few invaders among us. The biggies are Pakistan, Afghanistan and Eritrea and they are not even mentioned, perhaps because they are majority Muslim and as Mahmood has just described herself as a F-word Paki(stani).

As far as I can see they will still be here forever if they land and only a very few will ever be chosen for deportation. We need to ship them out as soon as they arrive and make their stay very uncomfortable. Tents at best, none of this 5 star hotel malarkey.

She is talking tough but very little of what she has mentioned is going to happen. This government does not have the will to restrict the invaders. These plans are just another case of kicking the can down the road. Ever since CallMeDave said he wanted to reduce immigration to the tens of thousands we have had one useless plan after another. None of them have been implemented and none ever will. We remain at the mercy of the invader lovers. The Labour backbenchers are already in uproar at the thought of deterring potential new voters.

While all this noise is going on, we still get around 3,500 arrivals a day on legal visas and many of those will never return home either.

The only sensible conclusion about all this noise is that Reform have terrified Labour. Mahmood has gone out and talked tough but there appears to be little chance she will ever get any of this enacted, wait for the excuses. It may have harmed her leadership chances and everyone will be waiting to pounce as it all goes very pear shaped. Some of us will have been entertained at both the amazing announcements and the in fighting on the red side. That is all it ever was, just another kick of the can down the road. The final nail in the coffin is that the anchor baby has endorsed it.
