So many broken promises, so many empty seats and we are deprived of watching the door hit their backside as they exit stage left.
In a fit of chutzpah rarely equalled in modern times Charlie “Sh!t Rod” Mullins, who apparently lives in Spain, threatens to leave the UK if Labour win the GE. This is very puzzling, did he temporarily move back here so he could make this threat or is it just bluster. For a man whose plastic surgery and botox has wrecked his visage, he doesn’t need to make himself look any more foolish.
In a slightly different vein, Will Young vowed to leave if the Tories won, we won’t need to check up on him then. I am sure I have heard the name but had no idea who he is. Google to the rescue, he won Pop Idol in 2002 and is a singer, songwriter and actor. None of us is any the wiser.
Back in April Kelvin MacKenzie also threatened to leave if Labour gets in power. Kelvin does like to get his name in the papers.
In March 2015 Katie Hopkins said she would leave if Labour win. Obviously this has been forgotten in the intervening years. In 2019 Phones 4U billionaire John Caudwell said he may leave if Labour win. Five years is a long time to follow through on a threat. Has he just packed his bags ?
Across the pond it was only a few days ago when Bruce Springsteen promised to leave the USA if Donald Trump is elected. We hope he is already packing his bags but don’t get your hopes up, he is a serial non-leaver.
Eminem and Ellen de Generate have also said they will leave if Donald Trump becomes President.
Mark Wahlberg has his finger on the pulse. He has called out Hollywood Democrats and said “if you don’t like the USA please leave and take your friends Alec Baldwin, Cher, Jennifer Lawrence, Miley Cyrus, Barbra Streisand, Matt Damon, Oprah and Colin Kaepernick with you”. Lying bar stewards Snopes claim to have checked this and are denying it is true.
Tom Hanks has just announced he will leave the USA if Donald Trump is elected President. Another case of déja vu, didn’t he do the same 8 years ago ? Perhaps he will buy Epstein Island and move there.
I had hoped for a few more threatened flouncers but no such luck. The most puzzling part of all these threats is why bother making them.
Just found out that both Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce say they are off if the Donald becomes President. I had a feeling they wouldn’t let me down.
Do they make these threats in the hope in influencing others. Of course if you don’t like them you may vote a certain way to help them on their way. If you feel they are influential you might like to follow their lead. In general most voters must just ignore these fools. There is no trace of anyone actually upping sticks and moving to another country. It just has to be yet more virtue signalling.
The threat of socialism has had an effect in both France and the UK. Estimates are that 50% of the stinking rich either have or are about to leave. Our lefty friends will be rejoicing at this news, their hatred overcoming reason. The predictions of how much will be raised in extra taxes will now need to be revised and in a massive downward direction. The rest of us will be lumbered with the bill to pick up the difference. This is where the fully costed and funded claptrap comes home to roost.
