My woman

When I hold her, hold my woman
Hold her tight against my bosom
Cries she like a little spirit
Spirit of the hills and forest.

Sighs she like the wind at morning
Sighs she then and holds me closely
Close she holds me and she shivers,
Shivers with the thrill of passion
Shivers with the need of woma,
Need of woman for her man.

Tenderly I hold her to me
Still her cries and soothe her murmers,
Murmers like the spring that tumbles
Over rocks and  down the valley
Valley of my kin, my people.

Who know me as I know my woman
She who loves me without question
Does not ask for me to answer
Asks for nothing but to love me,
Loves me with a love so tender
Tender as a woman can be,
Loves me as she simply does so.

Road Too Long

Though I may walk a road too long
From here until I die
I will not cease to think that I
To you, my love, belong.
We have talked, and rightly so
Of how we came to be
Lovers then, it was forecast,
I could not disagree.

Loving you was easy then,
You owned my heart and soul,
I would not have it otherwise,
The luckiest of men.
In your arms, and in your bed
I will not let you go
You are my muse, you are my girl,
My sweet I love you so.

Today

Bind my heart, don’t set it free
This the heart belongs to thee
This the dawn and these the days
Pagan songs and pagan praise.

Sun, the Moon, the Earth the Sea
Bound together, yet still free
This my body, take it now
Take my thoughts, take my vow.

We don’t need, and we don’t want
Religious union, religious cant
Swear by all we hold as true
Hold me close, our love renew.

Hold the old, respect the new
Age to age our life pass through
In your service I am bound
Swaer I this on hallowed ground.

A Christmas Card

A message from me, to you sweetheart dear
Love’s not just for Christmas
love lasts the whole year.

It lasts far beyond so that eternity
is not long enough
nor for you nor for me.

For you and me love just keeps on growing
I am yours, you are mine
it keeps our hearts glowing.

Our hearts they are glowing and beating in tune
we have our love to keep us
let’s hug and kiss soon.
