Going Postal

“We’re England & Wales. .  .”

Hallelujah brothers and sisters, praise be to the Lord. Victory! The vicar is mightily impressed with the hard work put in, purpose shown and belief in the final result by the congregation. There was only ever going to be one outcome. I hope those of you here Thursday night, Friday morning enjoyed the ride, at one point I thought the Internet was broken the numbers went so mad – In fairness I had been knocking back the communion wine in quantity, regardless of that I will still remember it forever.

Those of you here since February know this site is in large part an accident, I never really thought through the consequences of starting another blog, more fool me. Four months later referendum over, what to do? I have had a few, brief discussions, SC tells me he has enough material to bend your ears for the next couple of years, Coloniescross has said he plans to carry on writing so this makes me optimistic others will too. On my part the support people have shown over the last weeks had already persuaded me to carry on for the foreseeable future, the result certainly helps because with the vote to leave I am pretty sure that MPs instead of shutting up shop and buggering off on holiday for the next few months are going to be somewhat busy, this summer politics is going to be a little more interesting than it usually is. Question Time Sunday night?

All rise

Let us pray

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name
etc
etc
